WINTER TOURNAMENT

Kapanui school competed in Winter Tournament on Thursday the 14th of August 2014. We were going to go Tuesday but we had a minor setback because of the rain. The choices you could chose from was Rippa Rugby, Soccer, Netball and Hockey. The teachers said its best to not do the sport that you all ready do and I all ready play Netball. So I chose Rippa rugby witch was quite fun. The rippa rugby games played at Te atiawa park in Paraparaumu, the netball was played at Te atiawa courts in Paraparaumu, hockey was played at Mazengarb park and soccer was also played at Mazengarb park.

Commonwealth games day at Kapanui School

COMMONWEALTH GAMES DAY

At Kapanui School on the 31st of July we had a Commonwealth games day. All the teachers set up a game in there class after the opening ceremony.My whanau is Te Awa and there are 4 other whanaus witch are Te Moana Te Waka Te Whenua and Nga Manau.

The game that my Whanau class started with was silent ball, then in room 2 it was musical chairs, after that we went to room 3 and played a memory game, then it was bucket ball in room 4, after that we went to room 6 and played gumboot throw and the last game we played was at the hall and it was a fitness course.

After we had played the games we went to the hall for the closing ceremony
